A POWERFUL PURPOSE

Mission

Our mission is to develop meaningful opportunities that count towards making a difference in the overall equity and equality of its community members.

Vision

A respected and trusted leader for connecting people with resources and services that promote optimal health and well-being in the Black community.

Black communities are constantly flooded with misinformation on social media in the form of hoaxes, false claims, and flat out lies. With the simple click of a button — a like, a share, a comment — fake and harmful info in your newsfeed can spread out of control. The Truth Check Training gives you the skills you need to spot false and fraudulent information. Protect your social media timeline from fake news.

Know the facts. Take the training. Share the truth.

Tobacco-Free Communities

Black children in communities across the U.S. have been targeted by the tobacco industry for over 60 years. Menthol cigarettes and other predatory products like flavored cigars are marketed to these communities, hooking generation upon generation to a deadly product. Today, tobacco use is the number one cause of preventable death among Black Americans.

We have made it our mission to support tobacco-free communities and invite you to learn more about the campaign.
